There is only a week difference, I don't see why it matters. But its probably the doctor, they go by the time you ovulate. so you could have been pregnant before you ever conceived.

That means the baby is measuring to be about the same size as an average 12 week fetus.
A 12 week ultrasound is very accurate in determining due date. You may not have ovulated at the "normal" time in your cycle, maybe you ovulated a week ahead.

If the difference is only a week, it's not that big a deal.
However, go with what your doctor says. Every baby grows differently, but once you reach a certain stage in your pregnancy, your doctor will be more correct than a computer.

The computer is an estimate...and you are certain. Your baby may be a little large..it may be more accurate with the future Ultra sounds. Congratulations!

Its just a week so don't stress. If you're really that worried get a second opinion. People can be wrong you know...they are human after all. Computers sometimes mess up too, that's where problems come up.

That's just a week. Maybe your baby will be big. They gave me a "C" once told me I was 9 month and then found out the baby was 8 months....They are guessing.

Let's just say that the worst thing that will happen due to this error is that your baby will be a week premature. Hope that's not the case.

He may be measuring gestational age- which measures the length of the pregnancy from the first day of your last period. You are probably *both* right.
