ive asked this before but because i was new to all this i didnt put too much detail. right, its not mars attacks or war of the worlds or day of the triphids. it might have been made for tv, im not sure, it was about these aliens who were sending signals down to earth, the people thought that they were being hostile but they werent, the people attacked so they then attacked even though they were originally being friendly. the people eventually realised they werent hostile because of something to do with pattern of these signals they were sending but it was too late. the whole film was set as a news broadcast and the world ENDED, the tv went blank at that point cause obviously everyone was dead.

we thought it was called the last broadcast, but thats the film thats a bit like the blair witch.

It was The outer Limits ,very similar to Twilight zone.

yeah, it was on one of those sci-fi shows that has a different situation each time kind of like the twilight zone, but i'm sure it isn't the twilight zone. I think Dan Akroyd was the president or the head military guy. and i think they were in a submarine deciding whether or not to attack before it was too late. actually i'm positive we're talking about the same thing the more i think about it. i'll look it up some more b/c now i can't stop thinking about it. will contact if i find something.
