You over crowded your tank before it had the time to cycle - build up the beneficial bacteria that will turn the ammonia (fish waste) into harmless nitrates. You will have to do water changes of about 30% every other day for a week. Use bottled spring water rather then dechlorinated tap water. Add some salt for freshwater fish into your aquarium which will help protect against problems like ich and toxic water levels. You will then need to return some of the fish to the store. Probably the goldfish and neons which require cooler temperatures. Then you will have to buy a heater and set it to 79.

You have many problems with that tank there buddy, first of all the fish definetaly don't work together, Platies like a high pH, Neon Tetra's like a low pH, goldfish are coldwater fish your other fish are tropical, most commonly sold plecos are common plecos who grow to 15-20 inches and need atleast a 75 gallon tank, and Discus need very clean and acidic water, they are very sensitive and need to be kept in groups, if you have 2 male dwarf gouramis they will probably fight also.
Have you cycled the tank yet?
How big is the tank?
Next time please please please research the fish you are buying, you will definetaly be dissapointed if you don't because they will most probably die. Also petco and petsmart employees usually know nothing at all about fish keeping, read books and go on credible websites.
If the tank is too small and un-cycled, then your fish will probably get diseased also.
If your fish die, please do not flush them down the toilet, you will introduce diseases to local fish, which will kill them.
After your fish die (which to be honest, will probably happen) research how to keep fish, then start again!
Good Luck

Discu fish are very hard to keep alive! They are slow moving fish for one thing and you have him in there with fast moving fish that will bet him to the food every time! Discu are beautiful, but the water temp requirements and water condition requirements are very demanding! I would take the dicu back, it will more than likely die. Don't worry about the pleco, feed him his wafers only once every three days, he will come around to liking them. The gold fish>....hmmm, not sounding good at all.
Take Care.

Your tank seems very over crowed and goldfish and tropical fish arent suppoused to be in the same tank together. Tropical fish live in 70 - 80 degrees but goldfish like the 60s. I f you dont thin out your tank and seperate the goldfish from the tropics then you might end up with some dead fish. Gourmis themselves need 10 gallons of water.
Goldfish need alot more room than other fish because they get bigger and they don't work togeter with your other fish so they nneed their own tank to themselves.

Your question was sort of rushed and irratic, but when I try to make heads from tails on this basically your fish are sort of acting like they are in shock. They could be sick, have you added 'ICK REMOVER' to your tank yet? You can pick up ick remover locally, but certain fish can be killed by it so read the side of the label. Make sure the water is not too cold or too hot, keep it out of direct light. Get a lamp for it etc.

If you just got all these new fish all at once they may not feel safe around the other fish. Also try other food call the place you got them and tell them what is going on and you need help.

they seem to be stressed out if you just started this tank give them time to adapt and don't add anymore fish for now and when buying fish make sure there compatible not all fish live well together but if these fish are new it is not uncommon to feel insecure at first and about the placo feed it at night they tend to be shy fish mine never comes out during the day

Try adding a vacation feeder, its a mineral block, white in color that pet stores sell. Its sinks to the bottem of the tank and fish nip at it untill its gone.
Also Fish LOVE Bloodworms, live ones thou.
