Yes, moon acts like a mirror. During night time, we are still able to see a little outside. That's because the moon reflects the light from the Sun to the Earth.

Yes, the tides.
But I think it also effects the minds of young school children. I have many teacher friends that all claim that their kids all act crazy (more so than usual) when there is a full moon. I guess it does something to their brains?

that question is just "lunar" Have you ever worked with the general public (as a nurse,police officer, etc,etc) during a full moon?If you have-that should answer your question as things get really "busy" and "crazy" according to staff at that time. Individuals in these types of jobs often ask "is it a full moon" when there is a seeming upswing of people coming in. Maybe no scientific proof-but I always dread working the ER during the full moon.

yes...it has a pull on the ocean...my aunt was a nurse for 30yrs....she said when it was the full moon, or very near it....women would go into labor like crazzy!!!! also people get a little "loonie" at the time of the full moon...where do you think the word "lunatic" is derived from??? Luna...the moon.

It effects the tides.....we are mainly water, why wouldn't it affect us as well. The essential oils of many plants are also affected by the phases of the moon.
