Okay, so I'm in my friend's wedding at the end of THIS month! She was very kind and bought the dresses for us girls - only problem, it's a bit SMALL So, either I have 2 weeks to lose 20 pounds or I can hope someone online has a way to find dresses that are NOT the current stock.

It's a cute dress, dark purple, spaghetti straps, cool corset/lace up back - and I need like a 22 or 24 (Okay, it wouldn't hurt me to lose the weight any how, but it isn't going to happen in the next 2 weeks!)
If anyone has ideas of sites that list older dresses (last year isn't exactly vintage - and I've already checked e-bay!) Please let me know!!

Thanks!

If its already paid for, (not rented) It would really make more sense to take it to a professional seamstress to make adjustments. Like let out a few places to accomodate you *to perfection, instead of just vaguely.
He/she can easily add some similar materiel to "fill-in" the gaps, or use something else to impart a uniqueness that makes your dress more special. Like Stretch Lace inserts, or something. Its up to you.

Its better than forcing yourself into it and it busting at a most inconveinient time, or finding a replacement at the last minute to find that it isn't a very good replacement, and its too late.

Oh well, its your choice.

Good luck !!!

cheers !
