Hi y 'll ! I agree with your comment, sort of. In recent years this country has been run more like a business than a country. Big business seems to have more influence than citizens themselves.

Priceless. Let us break down the word. Without price. Which means Democratic Presidents have no value!

Everybody above seems to agree that there have been few good Democratic presidents.
I'll grant you that, but good Republican presidents are even fewer. Maybe Reagan would qualify, because he did what he set out to do, without taking into account the (economical) interests of his fellow Republicans.

I think that we put the finger on the problem: There are no strong willed, independent AND charismatic leaders in this country anymore, or the ones who have the potential to be one, are cut down before they get a chance.

Well, Em.............that's tough. US Senator Kerry decided not to slam President Bush so he is a Democrat now. JFK was good.
Jackson wasn't a Democrat contrary to popular believe. Grover Clevland...the do nothing President was good. Clinton....he's not dead yet and good Presidents must be deceased first so they become good. Hoover maybe. .....fine well that two....okay they are priceless....we'll have to work on that. Sorry.

It's kind of like trying to find a rational Republican. For the record, I'd rather have a not so good Dem over an unintelligent and sometimes heartless Rep. Pick your poison I suppose...
