I need to get info for my Lifestyle and Career Class...thanks for your help

That's a very good question! My life's career, and what I studied in school was law enforcement.....the ultimate goal was to be an agent for the DEA or on the S.W.A.T team......preferably the S.W.A.T. team. Unfortunately it didn't end up that way. What I'm doing now is fine, I like my job, it's pretty easy going. But if I had to do it all again, I think I would've stayed in school and gotten more financial aid so I could stay in school as I can still feel that law enforcement is in my blood. And over 20 years later I can still recite 836 of the California Penal Code.
So I'm happy now, but I think I might be happier if I would've pursued the life long career goal. But no one really knows for sure.

I am a secondary high school teacher. I started out teaching core English classes and I didn't really enjoy it, but I was very good because I am passionate, so pretty soon they gave me the lower level and remedials because their scores went up on tests. Only discipline was always a problem. Now I teach only electives (for the last 10 years now). I really love teaching electives and will never go back to core. Electives are fun to teach and I have fewer discipline problems because the kid chose the class.

I am an editor and I work out of my home in San Diego. They salary is awesome and I make my own hours. When the weather's nice I take my laptop to the beach and work there. I couldn't ask for a better career!

no I wasn't .....so at 50 I am in college to get a new career.....
I will become a community support worker.
to anyone out there that's is over 40 and do not think they have time to go back to school to become something more or to change what they were doing.....do you have the time to spend the rest of your working life to do what your not happy doing.

Yes I am, why...cause I do Tattoos on people and where else can you get paid money to purposely inflict pain on people?
