ROBIN WILLIAMS definitely. I have seen his work from Mork and Mindy on. All of his movies have a message too. Being a foreigner in the US, I also admired "Moscow on the Hudson," which I thought should've won something. The scene at the supermarket where he collapses is superb.

A close second is Bill Cosby, whom I met when I was in college. He visited us and said regarding Latins: "Ya'll speak Spanish, shut up!" (I am from South America)

My all-timers, though, are Laurel and Hardy, whom in South America are the fat one and the thin one... Actually, the thin one was my first love.

I can't stand Jim Carrey, too gross; Steve Martin, too weird (although I read in real life he collects classic art paintings!); any comedian or person using foul language. I know Mr. Williams started out as a foul mouth, but he's repented and is a great actor now, ha, ha, ha.

I love Dane Cook too. But, since someone else has already said him I'll say: the hilarious Eddie Izzard!

Robin Williams. I've watched him all the way from his "Mork & Mindy" days, and the man has a gift for spontaneous humor. Also a very talented and serious actor who can play the "straight" roles as well. Check our "Dead Poets Society" if you've never seen it.

like Sinbad because he not only is funny, but clean funny. He doesn't do many lately. I like Foxworth too, can't remember his first name, maybe it is Jeff? But there are lots of older ones, the best was Red Skelton. Sorry if I spelt them all wrong. .
