The only way (assuming water pills are diuretics) that I can see if effecting a result is diluting your urine if you are very early in your pregnancy... i.e. only a day or 2 late My advice #1 unless your Dr is having you take these pills stop because they are not good for you unless you medically have to have them... and #2 once you have stopped test with your first morning urine and your results should be accurate... or you can go to your Dr and get a blood test

Supposedly the only meds that effect a preg test is something with hormones, and that will usually be a false positive reading rather than a false negative. If you are trying to conceive you should not take any unneccessary meds tho. Good luck to you.

Only medicines with hormones (and taken for fertility) will interfere... consuming too much water or other liquids can dilute the HCG levels in your urine but I don't think water pills would have the same effect.

All HMT I have taken have a list of medicines which can interfere with their results...they are all fertility related.
