Anthropology and history are both very important. I was a history major and anthropology minor. You should also take a field school. At a field school you will learn by doing. The field schools, I have had, were by far my favorite classes of all my years of education. You will also have to go to graduate school. I was in graduate school for anthropology so that I could become an archaeologist, but I have to take a break and work as an English teacher in Korea, to save some more money before I can continue. I have studied and done archaeology work in the Southwestern USA and the central Philippines.
