They aren't "boils", they are sweat pimples believe it or not. Your girl needs to use powder on her inner thighs, preferably with some corn starch. This will help to keep her skin dry, stopping the "outbreak" of so many pimples. Yes, they do look disgusting, big, red, angry looking things with puss in them when they are popped, but that also describes a zit, too when you think about it!! POWDER HER UP!!!!

Boils are not caused by the same things as a zit. Please check your sources before you reply.

Treating them involves soaking them in hot water/compresses. Also bathing in Phisohex or Phisoderm, or Hibitaine. Certain skin types have a type of bacteria that infect the hair follicles and create boils RATHER THAN A PIMPLE. They are painful. They have been around since the dawn of mankind.

See a doctor for internal treatments. You can buy Hibitaine bath soak in most drug stores. It works over time.

Popping them will relieve the pain but causes scarring.

Good luck

Boil or furuncle is a skin disease caused by the inflammation of hair follicles, thus resulting in the localized accumulation of pus and dead tissues. Individual boils can cluster together and form an interconnected network of boils called carbuncles. In severe cases, boils may develop to form abscesses.

Most boils run their course within 4 to 10 days. For most people, self-care by applying a warm compress or soaking the boil in warm water can help alleviate the pain and hasten draining of the pus (colloquially referred to as "bringing the boil to a head"). Once the boil drains, the area should be washed with antibacterial soap and bandaged well.

For recurring cases, sufferers may benefit from diet supplements of Vitamin A and E.

In serious cases, prescription oral antibiotics such as dicloxacillin (Dynapen) or cephalexin (Keflex), or topical antibiotics, are commonly used. For patients allergic to penicillin-based drugs, erythromycin (E-base, Erycin) may also be used.

However, some boils are caused by a superbug known as community-acquired Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or CA-MRSA. Bactrim or other sulfa drugs must be prescribed relatively soon after boil has started to form. MRSA tends to increase the speed of growth of the infection.

Magnesium sulfate paste applied to the affected area can prevent the growth of bacteria and reduce boils by absorbing pus and drying up the lesion.

It is probably a sebaceous cyst. Don't mess with it. Use tea tree oil on it a few times a day for a couple of weeks. It penetrates the skin and will clear it up.

You should ask a doctor. Sounds like a heat rash, but only a doctor will know for sure.

Don't squeeze! That could cause infection and scarring. See the doctor. If it's an ingrown hair problem, it may be remedied.

Maybe she is diabetic? My best friend had these forever and she blamed it on diabetes, but I've recently discovered that she has herpes.
