Any bleeding should be checked by your doc, but light bleeding usually is normal. Fear of miscarriage if VERY common.

It depends on how you are defining "light." If you have streaks of pink or brown mixed with mucus in your panties, that's not exactly "bleeding." Your mucus plug could be shifting. If you see any bright red streaks or spots that continue to grow after changing your panties, seek medical help immediately. It is possible to have a miscarriage with no pain whatsoever. Severe bleeding can be caused by separation of the placenta from the uterine wall (abruptio placentae). What the heck, call your doctor; he or she knows your case best. Your age, general health, habits...all these and more have bearing on your gynecological health. Don't take any chances.

Light bleeding as in pink? Or light bleeding as in spotting little drops of red? Either way I would go to or phone the doctor. If it's bad enough, you would be in serious pain or mild-medium cramping and having some serious blood clotting!!

I had some spotting in the 7-8 week of pregnancy. no pain though, just prayed. I guess it was normal from implanting. if you have bleeding and soaking a pad and pain then you shoul go to E.R. good luck. i am sure it's just implanting.lay down and drink lots of water.

How far along are you in your pregnancy? Light bleeding is fairly common (and harmless) in early pregnancy. However, you need to let your doctor know right away. It is probably nothing, but should be monitored by your obstetrician.

I would get checked but they say a little bleeding is normal cause your uterus is expanding.
