I was in my History class. We completely stopped what we were doing and watched the second plane hit and the towers fall. We did nothing for the rest of the day. Or a few days after that. Didn't help that my teacher is a Vietnam Vet. I'll never forget where I was.

I was just steppping out of the shower getting ready for work at a job site in Palm Springs, California, as the news of the first plane had hit the WTC. My family were still in Las Vegas, and I was really concerned that Vegas could also be a target (Las Vegas has a big USAF bomber base here, Nellis AFB).
As I watched, the second plane hit; the shock made me sit down. The first though into my head was, "We're at war!" My second thought was, "I want to reenlist!" (No joke!)
And what do you mean by "accident?" This was no accident; this was a malicious plot, planned and carried out my a group of Islamofacist PIGS who want to destroy America, Israel, Christianity and Judaism as being "infidels!" No, this was no accident, and to call it such is to soil the memories of those who died that day.

I was at work & there was a t.v. in the lobby, & they had just shown the 1st airplane going into the tower, at first i thought it
was an accident, but then the second one & into the pentagon.
this was no accident. Being born & raised on Capital Hill Wash.
D.C. it was a very scary feeling that this could happen in our
wonderful country. This should be a wake up call for all Americans.

It was certainly no accident, it was a planned attack on America.
Yes, I remember. I had just woke up, slept in that day a bit. My husband called from his work and told me to put the TV on, that there was something going on at the World Trade Center, a plane had hit one of the towers. I put on the TV and either I called my mom or she called me. We were talking about it as the second plane struck and then, of course, we knew what it was. We were wondering whether the towers would stay standing. Right after we hung up, the first tower fell. (It was actually the second tower to be struck but the first to fall.) I thought of calling her back but by then was completely riveted and in shock and stayed by the TV all day and most of the following week.
My kids came home with stories of their own to tell, like, not being allowed to bring their bookbags home that day...
Is that specific enough?

it was a month after I moved from Australia to Indiana...I was at work we had no T.V. just a radio and no one came in for hours. The three of us were glued to the radio and I was informing one of the american ladies I worked with just what the Twin Towers and the Pentagon actually were...NO LIE!! Needless to say I was a little worried that I had just made a bad move by going there to live. I think the fact she didn't know goes to show alot of americans don't know much about anything past their own backyard...no disrespect but it's just never been made important to them to know what's going on in the rest of the worlds lives...Bad Day and I will ALWAYS rememeber just what I was doing.

Sleeping in what could've been a perfectly normal morning before going to third grade like any other... it was horrible to wake up with yelling and crying around you.....
Bless the people of 9/11; victims, survivors, watchers, firefighters, etc. Best wishes to them all!!

I was in my country. It's about 9:46 or 9:45 PM. I think I was sleeping on a comfortable bed at the time. I was comfortable because I don't know that it was happening.

I was in Argos (UK catalogue shop) and everyone was crowding round the TV section...I thought there was a sale on. Til I walked over there and saw the second plane fly into the towers live.
