How do I get out of Cerulean City in Pokemon Red?

I KNOW how to get to Vermilion, I want to go BACK to the other cites, I can't find the route.

Well I suppose you mean how to get back to the past 2 towns???

Thats quite easy. All you do is get the S.S Anne ticket off Bill after rescuing him. Then you can either walk/ride back down to Vermillion City. There you get on board the S.S Anne and you find the captains room. Infront of the room will be Gary, your rival.
After you defeat him go inside the room and you will find the captain. Get the HM Cut off him.

Next you teach it to a pokemon that will learn the HM Cut. Then you go to the outskirts of Vermillion City to the Diglet cave. You go in and come out the other end. You use Cut and there you have it

Cerulean City
Heal your pokemon and buy some more pokeballs, deposit all the TMs and escape ropes you didn't use and use your rare candy and HP UP on a pokemon. Deposit your rattata too, if you haven't already. Also store the moonstone into your PC too. Head for the Gym, right next to the pokecenter. If you have a level 22 pikachu, it'll be a very short fight, just use thunder shock.

Cerulean City Gym
You can tell that these guys love water, they've transferred the gym into a pool!!! You'll face 2 lieutenants before you meet Misty.

Misty
Misty has a level 18 staryu and a level 21 starmie, bulbsaur or pikachu, or any other plant or electric type pokemon would do. Do not use fire, what ever you do. The cascade badge and TM 11 are your rewards for defeating her.
Bike Shop
After defeating Misty, the road to the north will open up, but first visit the bike shop on the southwest corner. They sell bikes for the cheap price of $1,000,000 dollars? 5,000 times the price of my bike, but of course, nothing is cheap here, a pokeball, a ball costs $200.

You can either go to the north to go visit Bill, east to head to a dead-end, west will take you back towards Pewter city, or south towards Saffron City.

i assume you mean to go back to pewter city (the one with the rock gym) and pallet town (where you start)?

if this is your first time getting to ceruelean, you won't be able to get back there for a while. you came by way of mount moon, and there was a little cliff thing that you jumped off to get to cereulean.

you need to get CUT first, from the captain of the ship in vermillion's dock.

then you need to go through diglet's cave in order to get back to pewter.
