when they say things like that, they are counting on the fact that they have brainwashed the masses well enough that they won't realize that what they are saying is a lie.

Actually, he calls Iran and North Korea axis evil because of their new nuclear programs. But I honestly think that we should set an example by getting rid of most of our nukes first. Nuclear energy should be used only for electricity.

Because in addition to fighting with each other, both Iran and Iraq have for years funded and committed crimes against humanity. Iran funds Hizbollah and wants to wipe out Israel. Saddam murdered tens of thousands of Kurds and Shiites.

They other part is Korea. Don't forget them.
Because they both harbor terrorists and/ or have rogue governments. Remember we had Americans held hostage by Iran under the Ayatollah Komeni and remember Persian Gulf 1.
They are lots of other countries that belong on that list.
Like Syria and all the countries in Africa engaged in genocide.

It seems this is a little late in the game for this question.. but, like so many who speak out vehemently against the war, they remain uninformed as to the reality of what is going on in the world today.. One would have to have blinders on to not know we have been under attack for more than 20 years..When that attack enters our own shores, there is need to consider what is really going on..Any nation or civilization that is under the rule of Islam, is also under a commandment of their founder (Muhammud), to not be friendly toward christians or jew... aside from that commandment, there is another which compels them to take up arms against the infidel. Whether they moderate or intemperate Islamists they must comply,....should they not follow that commandment, they are also likely to be killed. but, they must kill the infidel, or make sure they convert to the Islamic faith.. They intend to have one world religion...
Does that give you any idea why they are called the "Axis of Evil?"

Words are very powerful.
Words can plant seeds of evil in the minds of men.
Words have destroyed nations in the history of man.
How would we have reacted if a foreign leader just called us all what our president did to them?
The seeds of animosity just multiplied exponentially through such remarks...
And it continues....as they plan to bomb Iran....strategically...in March 2007.
