I wouldn't say it was weird, more like dumb & stupid. I had a huge party at my house with co-workers, one of which I really liked. Tried to impress him by making foods that he liked, having the brand of tequila that he liked, the pony-keg of beer that he liked, music that he liked, etc. Get the picture? And what came of this? Well, he put his arm around me and said "I like you because you're such a good friend." Oh those aweful words..."good friend." I can still hear it ringing in my ears and it's been 16, 17 years. And after that, he went into the bathroom and never came out. I knocked, no reply, opened the door and he threw up all over himself. Got him cleaned up, took his clothes off to wash (they were a mess!), got him into my bed to sleep it off (no I didn't take advantage of the situation, in fact, I slept on the couch), dried his clothes, when he woke up in the morning he got dressed, drank coffee and left.
After that, he never talked to me again. Ungrateful jerk!
Yeah, I'd definately call it dumb and stupid on my part! :o)

Well Minnie, I had this great line all figured out, so I went to a really dressy suit & tie party. I saw this gorgeous woman, so I walked up and introduced myself. Hello, I'm Bob *****, I'll be your unofficial host today, so anything you need, just call on me. A drink, a dance, just let me know."
She thanked me and handed me a handful of free passes to a strip club.
