From my last place of employment, here are 3 unusual sayings that floated around a lot:
When people propose doing something very risky or unethical: "Now we're playing on the freeway".
When you just can't pull off another miracle project on short notice with no resources its, "The wand is almost out of magic."
Finally, when everyone seems confused and you just can't solve the problem - or even clearly understand really what the problem is: "I think we're trying to nail Jell-O to a tree!"

To my kids when they say, "Mom, make me a sandwich".
I don't mind unless I'm doing something. My YOUNGEST of 4 is 15...got to grow up and be able to make your own sandwich sometime right!

were all humans, we all make mistakes. I dont know who orginally said it but my mom tells me that all the time. And it is a big comfort to me! And besides, its the truth! :)
