Well that is always a challange. Even if he did have kids and u had kids, it is still a tuff situation. I've dated my bf for 5 years, he has kids and i have one. I dont want any more kids but he does. I had an IUD which will last for 10 years...Within the last 2 months we had made a commitment to have a child to unite our two families. And i just think i wanted one anyways.. The point is, u may not want any now or in 3 or 4 years...but who knows in 5? Just let things go as they are and if it comes to that situation, just communicate how u feel and if he cant respect that, then maybe he isn't that into u.

If the person that your dating knows that you have children and you are far enough along in the relationship that you believe that it could lead to a life time commitment then you need to sit down and express your feelings. It is better to be honest before making a commitment Starting a life together with honesty and love will give it a greater chance of lasting. Good Luck.

I am taking it your partner wants more kids?

If so then you should discuss how much it actually means to your partner. Make sure that he/she is okay and understands all the details. As long as there is communication then you shouldn't have a problem.

Peace

Matt

So, it's you who doesn"t want anymore children? Communicate w/ your partner. Ask their expectations of parenting. You stated your partner doesn't have kids. To thoroughly answer this, it needs to be stressed if your partner wants children. Either way, talk to your partner and find out why.

I think this issue is a show stopper. Having a child is something that is a wonderful wonderful experience. I absolutely love my boys and would do anything for them ... If your potentential mate does not want children .. well like I said its a show stopper in my mind

Live for the day. Relax. Have fun. Remember to use birth control unless you decide to have more kids. BE HAPPY

If the topic comes up, just tell the truth. If it is early on in your relationship you don't have to bring up the topic yourself yet.
