Katie has hazel eyes, and Tom has green eyes. So why are Suri's eyes blue???
Suri is a cute baby either way, at least in my opinion she is.

Babies have blue or grey eyes until about a year of age (can start to change earlier)

It has to do with genetics. It's just like the fact that my parents have hazel eyes and me and my brother both have blue-gray eyes.

She is a cute baby, and I think she looks more like her daddy. Yes, it is just genes, and being still young. She will probably keep those blue eyes I bet.

Could be a recessive gene. My dad has dark brown hair and bright blue eyes, and my mom has black hair and brown eyes. I got the recessive genes, I got auburn-red hair and green eyes from my great-great grandmother.

Almost all babies eyes are blue when they are born. Then they change when they hit about..I think 3 months?

blue eyes are a recessive gene. they can lie dormant for generations. both my kids have blue eyes while me and my ex both have brown. insert cheating wife joke here. but in all seriousness, it can happen w/ eyes, hair, and many other human traits.

a lot of babies have blue eyes when they are young than they change..also you don't have to have the same color as your parents..my parents have brown eyes yet i have green
