Yes, I believe they do, but they would have a hard time linking people to their yahoo id's. I don't really care if they read what I write. I think if they find some terrorists that way, then more power to them. There are also a lot of nutcases on here that I think would probably be a good idea if they did monitor, some people practically say they want to kill people or that they are sex predators and I for one would love them to take them out.

This is highly unlikely... they more than likely have a program which scans internet sites, blog spaces, diaries and what not for "keywords" some examples of those keywords would be... President Bush, Dick Cheney, Osama Bin Laden, assassinate, terrorist, attack, 9/11... the list goes on. Think of how well we as individuals can search one page for information using the utilities provided to us. Now imagine the programs the government uses to keep track of thier satelites. I doubt they pay people to read sites all day... if they did... our economy wouldn't be suffering like it is... you'd have to have millions upon millions of people reading every page daily.

I imagine they monitor just about every public forum.

Yes, I care. Not if they read what I have to say, but that they have gone so far to create a world in which they feel they must, and feel justified doing so. Sheer stupidity, and self destruction, from people who ostensibly are educated leaders. They have disappointed me on such a basic level. I didn't even know it was possible to have your country's leadership break your heart, until this administration took office. I'm so deeply ashamed of them.

No they don't read them only the pick of the litter. If your name pops up with enough matches of words the computer will report this to some one in the FBI and CIA or who ever and you will have some nice guys in black suits reading everything you ever wrote. If they think you was talking to someone in Iran and they think there is a code in your messages you might get to go answer some questions. You might even get to visit one of them hidden CIA prisons.

They sure do and no I don't care. For proof just read answers that are anti bush. You will notice the same people over and over again trying to protect Bush. Click on their profiles and you will see that this is their job.
As far as caring. At this point no, but if they ever accomplish martial law then All IP's will be tracked(well, they already are of course but they aren't arresting people yet for opposing Bush... yet). Hear it from the man himself.

Nope. They are too busy trying to take over the world, and claim it is in the name of democracy, or to save us from terror. Blah, blah, blah. It's something different every day.
I care a lot about a lot of things.
I don't care if they read my answers. I have nothing to hide. I tell it like I see it, if they can't handle that, then apparently they do have much to hide.

I don't know and I don't care. The british government, though, said like a year ago that they are able to know every click done by every user within England. I don't think US is different.

Yes they are spying on Americans with the Patriot Act. The radical Neocon questions and answers aren't helping the Republican cause either.

Some intern may peruse over them but I seriously doubt any politician reads them and care. The lib-socialists might care some because they treasure polls.lol Other than threats though...No. :)
