If you knew you'd die in, say, 20 years, you needn't worry about being so careful now. Or would you live every day counting how many days until THE day?

Well really everyone reading this will be dead in eighty years or so (mostly) so if its twenty or eighty years we all will die, so make each day count and be kind to each other,go and do some unexpected nice deed for someone today

I do not want to know the day I die....we all know we will die,so the idea is not so very bad...but to know the day would be too much responsibility. I (we) would try to be extra good around 1/2 way and for what...God knows the real me(us)so it is best to just be ourselves and take it one day at a time...just like we do.

Yes I would like to know, but I would also like to know in what state my body would be in. If I have another 34 years to live I want to make sure that I wouldn't get paralyzed or something tomorrow or live like a vegetable for the next 34 years.

if i was certain that i would die in 20 years, no sooner, no later, i would live it up. Eat the skin on the fried chicken, have some more wine, and towards the end stop using condoms. heart and liver disease take years to kill me, and std's are no big deal...assuming that there was certainty as to my demise.

I'd rather live 20 GREAT years, than 30 SHITTY ones, quality over quantity for me.

OMG. I could totally plan my life "around" that day...

I would know exactly when to have all my stuff given away.

My son would know that that would be the day..and that he would have to plan his life from that day forward without being able to get help from me.

I could have my own memorial a week before...actually a party to celebrate my life.

YES...tell me the day!!

GOOD QUESTION...

nope I will infact be glad to know the date of my death 'cos then I would know that it is the deadline by which I need to achieve and accomplish all that I have set myself up for and that includes turning dreams to reality, accomplishing goals, travelling around the world and prepare people around me in a way that they do not cry for me upon my death but rejoice in the good things I had done for the people in the world

It wouldn't matter one way or the other to me. I would still try to live my life as good as I could, just like now. We aren't promised one more day in this world.
