Go to your optometrist and ask for a sample.

You can get a single pair from any eye doctor or from 1-800-CONTACTS. You must first have a fitting and an eye exam, even if you don't need a prescription. Don't order them from one of the ads in the back of your Cosmo magazine--you could seriously damage your eyes without a proper fit.

This may sound strange but I bought a pair at a flea market. I also found a optometrist's office that sells them to you singly.

Most eye places that dispense contacts will let you try a sample pair, if you're considering a purchase.

Go to www.hauntedeyes.com and click on the colored contacts section. They are reasonable for the regular colored lenses, but the theatrical ones are expensive.
