I rented it tonight and found it to be very overwhelming and emotional. I think it gives us a very gruesome, yet accurate portrait of what happened that day five years ago. I found myself gripping my seat through the whole thing, and for the first time, in a long time, I cried at the end of a movie. After I watched it, I felt extremely overwrought and emotionally drained. What did you think of this film?

In response to Rob's statement and please don't think I'm attacking you because I'm not. Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I don't think it is right to call a movie about our country's history stupid, especially when it was such a big part of our history. We all obviously know the outcome of the movie, yes. But I think it is still important to give a visual depiction of what happened that day too rather than just letting our children read about it in their history books. Sometimes seeing something like this helps people go through their grieving process as well, whereas a lot of people in our society, when they read it in a book or whatever, may not have gotten (or may not get-in the future) the full impact of the importance this had on our country.

I kept hoping that they would win, even though I knew that wasn't going to happen. I watched it at the theater. Yes it was gripping and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I hate it when the good guy doesn't win, but glad we have learned a lot from that fateful day and are somewhat more careful as a nation. I am a firm believer in racial profiling. After all, how many non-Muslims are out there with their suicide bombs? Even that nut job that blew up the fed. building in Oklahoma City didn't kill himself.

I was not and still am not interested in this movie. I don't understand how they can get, or how someone can think that they are getting an "accurage portrait of what happened" on United Flight 93. There were no survivors, how can anyone recollect what happened. The only thing that anyone has to go on is what is on the flight recorder and what people said to their loved ones when they called them from the plane.

I don't think this movie can tell anyone what really happened, and I think these people, as well as the all the people who were effected by this terrorist act (all the people who died, the people who tried to save everyone, all the families, etc.) should be honored, remembered for who they are, what they did, etc. All of the victims of 9/11 are hereos! And if the people who made this movie felt this way they would donate all their profits to help people who were effect by the 9/11 terrorist acts.

Again, I just can't see how the movie makers can make this film or World Trade Center. They weren't there, there were no survivors from flight 93 or any of the other planes, they can only assume what they think might have happened.

My heart goes out to all the victims and their families!

I agree that it was a very good film. One of the best to come out about the events of September 11, 2001. (I dont really like it when people abbreviate it as 9/11. Makes it sound like a store or the emergency number). I didnt think it was gruesome. In fact, the scenes where the hijackers kill and injure the passengers was done in a kind of old fashioned way. In some movies Ive seen, they would have showed blood squirting from a knife wound like that. Overall, the show seemed very realistic and did a good job capturing the emotions of the people involved. Its a good tribute to the people of Flight 93.

I thought that it was an excellent film. I cried while watching it as well. It is good for people to remember those brave souls and the horrific events of September 11, 2001.

I think its the Stupidest movie made ever. I don't know how the rest of you feel but I didn't learn anything I didn't already know beforehand after completing the movie. Keeping that in mind what was the point of the moive. To relive the tragedy!!!. It doesn't make a whole lot sense to me.
