well... a lot of training. plyometric exercises (google on that, you'll find tons of sites) and muscle improvement (going to the gym and doing powerlifting, not bodybuilding). did you knew that most of the football players, i meen the recievers, jump better that a bball player? that's becuz of all the plyos and sprints. there's also the genetics, but most it's hard work and dedication :D

There are a few reasons. Some of them are: Weight, Type of shoes, Genetics( meaning power of muscles, length of bones, etc...)

im guessing its because they were born with it and they work out their legs alot.
