Citrus need lots of sulight and warm climates. Frost is their biggest enemy. If it gets colder where you are, cover the plants to make certain they don't get frost overnight. Water them very deepley every 7 or eight days. Try not to get water on the leaves. This encourages either sulight burn from the magnifiying effects of sunlight on the water or fungus grwoth.

Water them less in the winter. Put mulch around the roots to avoid root freeze.

Terracotta pots are great for citrus so as that they wont be overwatered and drown, yet in warmth climate shop a watch on them coz youthful citrus dont favor to be too dry. even as they fruit, if there is much of fruit on the timber, trim the extra off basically after the fruit buds have dropped the perfect petals. too a lot fruit will stress the tree into having a foul develop season, and it may chop up the tree. once you prune them, surely prune thick branches about 3/4 up the dept or eliminate the dept completely. except that they can take a not straightforward prune after fruiting, resembling roses yet no longer truly that severe.
