My husbands vasectomy was done about 7 yrs ago and now I think i'm pregnant, is this possible? If not, what are the chances of me getting pregnant?

Absolutely. Especially if it was done that long ago. Technology wasn't as reliable back then as it is now. The chances are very slim, but it can still happen.

The chance is extremely remote, but possible if tubes were not properly cut and sealed. There is a very small chance (less than 1%) that a man's partner will become pregnant after he has had a vasectomy. A vasectomy can fail if the tubes were not completely sealed off during surgery. Sometimes, the cut ends of the vasa join together by themselves, or an opening develops that lets sperm pass through.

Yes it is possible. I've been fixed but was told that there would still be that remote possibility. It is rare but very possible. What does rare mean? 1 in 1,000 women will become impregnated by a neutered man. Thats what the doctor told me who did my vasectomy. Thats much better odds than winning a lottery. My faithful wife has thought a couple of times that she was pregnant but she wasn't.In the last few years, she's 45, things aren't always as regular as they used to be. Sometimes they change just because you change the women you work with and as weird as it seems, adapt to their calendar of events. Best of luck!

It is possible. The chances are small. A friend of mine ended up with a (much) younger brother after their father's vas grew back. After my friend had a vasectomy, he had tests done, and his spontaneously reversed also. I am not sure how long they were sterile, but in my friend's case I think it was at least several years. You should arrange for testing (both of you and him) promptly!
