Ok, I've asked this before but never got any real answers. What's your favorite thing to do around here. I'm trying to find some new places.

I just moved back to the area, but I finding the downtown life to be rather repetitive... The other item is that the "tourist" attractions are fun, but seem a bit too commercial for my taste. I have found the best way to enjoy Orlando is to get out and discover the natural beauty it has to offer. The beaches are close on both coast, you can do tons of nature type trails, and their are some great culture type events if you do some research. You just really got to get out and apply yourself....

Good luck, I know it can be frustrating!!

Have you been to Lake Eola downtown? It is just nice to walk around it. They have various events there throughout the year. Fiesta in the Park is the weekend of 11/4-11/5. It is full of arts, crafts, food booths, entertainment etc. It really is nice and a great afternoon of fun.
Downtown Disney is fun & free to walk around. There is a lot of great restaurants, House of Blues (check for concerts), a huge Lego store, Virgin Records, just everything.
The Dolly Parton dinner show is great. Wait until the Christmas show....it is so nice and the food is actually good. Next to that is a super 'Premium Outlet outdoor Mall' which has great stores....
In DeLeon Springs, Fl (an hour from Orlando) there is the state park that has an old Spanish mill converted into a restaurant. You make your 'all you can eat' pancakes on a griddle in the middle of your table. It is a great time. The park is nice with peacocks walking around. Food is good. Breakfast foods are the best there.
This ought to keep you busy....I have plenty more ideas if you need any.
