no way...the brewers were actually supposed to contend for the wild card...but after injuries and trading my favorite player carlos lee...they have gone so much downhill...they just ended like a 10 game losing streak and probably lost to the houston astros tonight...because when i stopped watching they were losing like 9 to 1...when are they going to keep some of their stars and make a serious run to the playoffs...but hey i gotta love my favorite baseball team...go brewers!

As a Detroit Tiger fan since 1972, yes I am very Happy with the performance this year. I am not used to Detroit having this much quality pitching.
The Tigers certainly do need to improve the offense at first base, third base and the outfield. Curtis Granderson has potential, but is not a good lead off hitter. Brandon Inge deserves the Gold Glove; he makes a spectacular play every other game; but his is not a consistent hitter.
The starting pitching is very good. I feel sorry for Nate Robertson, he is pitching with extreme lack of support, losing again last night with on earned run in 7 innings.
The manager has turned around a losing attitude, the coaches seem energetic and positive.
Yes, I am happy with the Detroit Tigers.

The Cardinals exceeded my wildest expectations this 365 days. We were preparation an outfielder to play second base (pass Schumaker) We had no third baseman Glaus replaced into meant to be back with the help of mid may, he nevertheless can't play. i did not imagine Khalil eco-friendly replaced into the answer at shortstop. he replaced right into a huge flop. The pitching replaced right into a question mark. How lengthy will timber worker put off. We no shown nearer contained in the bullpen. yet some gamers advanced and the Cardinals keen to commerce some potentialities to get Holliday and DeRosa. The red Sox gave us Lugo and Smoltz for no longer something and they are nevertheless paying their salaries. i'm very overjoyed. Now we basically might want to signal vacation and DeRosa because they're loose brokers after this 365 days.

As a Red's fan, our pitching was awful. We need middle relief and a closer. Trading didn't help much this year, it just gave away one rbi guy in Kearns. Guardado was great for a bit and then injury. Arroyo went into a tail spin for quite a while after the All Star Break and is just now pitching well. Harang needs to be consistent. Dunn is awesome but needs to pick up the average just a bit. I think we made some improvement over last year but we certainly could have done better.
Yes....keep Narron. He has done wonders for the Reds.

Win or lose; strength or weakness; hitting, pitching, fielding etc. once a CUB fan, always a CUB fan ... we're used to the standings and can read the newspaper upside down if it has to be.
From an AL city but where else is baseball played more often in the afternoon sunlight and can be watched from surrounding inner city rooftops, fans singing in the 7th inning stretch --- love it!

Overall, I am very pleased with the Dodgers performance. They have played a wonderful season as of right now, of course there's been a few games that i wish i could erase but hey we can't win 'em all. The gm brought some good players to the organization, I just wish they would've traded O. Perez earlier though. Basically, this team has been mostly of rookies & they've done hell of a job. I loved the addition of Nomar to the team, I just hope that they keep him for a couple more years. Grady Little, I would bring him back for another year, i think he's done a very good job this season. GO DODGERS!!!!!

Pirates.
No.
Weaknesses - nearly everything. No strengths except a strong player in Jason Bay. They have some potential on the pitching staff, that is until they all throw out their arms like Oliver Perez.
They need to sell the team to Mark Cuban.

Love the Yankees, all the way! And yes, I know there are a LOT of Yankee haters out there, but I love the way they have pulled together and used some of those young guys after losing Matsui and Sheffield. No they are not perfect, but they battle. Pitching has been erratic, at best, and so many focus on A-Rod, that a lot of thier bats get over looked, but overall, I'm quite pleased with the team. Can't imagine anyone but Torre to manage right now either. GO YANKEES!!

The Twins had a bad start then came back in a huge way so I am very happy. Weakness with them it has always been hitting strengths pitching(how about that one-two combo Lirirona and Santana). Fielding has been good with Hunter and Lew in out field. In the infield there is Bartlett, Mauer and Morneau. Not real good on the back ups but when Hunter and others went on the DL they stayed strong so ok with that. Ron Gardenhire is one of the best in MLB does more with less keep him till he wants to leave. Yes I know Liriona in on the DL but he is coming back. Forgot bullpen wich is one of the best in MBL. watch out for those piranhas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Florida Marlins:
-Sanchez recorded a no hitter
-Cody Ross 3 HR game
-Miguel Cabrera NL batting title (probable)
-Hanley Ramirez = 46 SB and counting
-3 rookies with 10+ wins
-Dan Uggla = set the rookie HR record for a second baseman
-Willingham 23 HR's, Uggla 24, Ramirez 13, Mike Jacobs 19 HR's...all their first full seasons
-Veteran Wes Helms = having a great year, best pinch hitter in NL (statistically)
ETC ETC, so many rookie records being broken!!

I am quite impressed because the only weakness is David Newham, a subsutute for Corey Patterson because of Patterson's absence.
In the batting order the strengths are Tejada (also great at SS), Nick Markakis (who did the first grand slam of the season known as the Coors Light Cold Blast), Corey Patterson (absent), Jay Gibbons (who did a 3-RBI homerun on Friday), Melvin Mora (who scored a 2-RBI homerun on Friday) and Kevin Millar.
