For me it was the people jumping from the towers...
Could you imagine having to choose to burn to death or jump?

I remember seen the first and second planes hit the towers on tv. Then I remember seen people jumping from the buildings. And finally when the towers collapsed. I still can't believe this happened. R.I.P

I was picked up by a friend, who asked me what was the tallest bldg in NY. I replied that it was the Empire State, not knowing of any twin towers. He corrected me and then asked, if he told me that two planes were hi-jacked and crashed into them, and another through the roof of the Pentagon, what would I say?

I told him that I thought I had read that book.
What I remember is my amazement when he told me it was real.

I had just got up, turned on the TV to the news just in time to see that 2ND plane fly into the tower...I get goose bumps just remembering it. Everything was turmoil and the worse was yet to happen.

I was only in sixth grade when it happened. I remember everyone got silent and I was confused. Then the school went into the gym and watched the TV. I was really shocked and confused. I couldnt believe it was really happening. I remember everyones faces, so stoic and hurt. We all started crying and praying.

9 11 didn't affect me until a year afterwards...on 9 11 02 the local paper printed the names of all the people who died that day, and that's when it really hit me, and that's the first time I cried because of it.

I was watching probably CNN....

A woman was reporting on location near Ground Zero with a woman and her baby.Apparently due to the force of 2 buildings coming down, it severly damaged the foundation of surrounding buildings. All of a sudden, while on air, one collapsed and this reporter said "Maam, cover your baby!" because she saw it coming. Then the camera went blank.
