No, bless his heart. He's just trying to help. The way I see it, if people don't stop preheating ovens all of the worlds oil will be used up and everyone will die. So we should thank him.

he'll destroy himself when he takes a bite of the thick crust pizza and find the dough too doughie and not done all the way through while the toppings are half burnt. best to leave him in ignorance and discover for himself how to properly cook a meal.
