I want to change my avatar to a picture saved on my computer, how do i do that?

you have to have a 360 account, upload the pic to 360 as the main pic then come back to answers, click on MY Q & A click on edit my info and choose use my 360 picture.
I don't know why they make you have to run in circles to do it, but they do.

Avatar not save on your computer ,first selct the avatar you can choose that time you can use thisoptiion , so you can use the copy option and paste the "PANIT" I think so your problems solved

Open a conversation window (any one)
Click on your avatar or the little black triangle below and select "share my piture" A menu will apear and you can select a default one or browse your computer for one of your own.
