please, parents, don't let your children pre-heat the oven before they cook, otherwise they will end up as vandals and jay-walkers

Wow, you're just so obdurate, aren't you? Petty crime? Geez. Next thing we know, you'll be accusing them of being anti- Semitic or racist, or something! Seriously, just drop it! I pre heat my oven, and have never engaged in petty crime, nor has my mother. If you're baking bread (yummy!) you HAVE to preheat the oven, and it is recommended for baking cookies. And preheating the oven for meat is not a good idea, I believe. As long as the meat is cooked, then that's all that matters! Would you just DROP IT? Thanks! (Thanks for the points, though!)
