I have been cursed with by being given the phone number of a Wireless Phone store in our town that has been out of business for years. However each year they have my phone number listed as this wireless shop, and the shop is on the main highway through town, and has my phone number, in three foot tall red numbers, on the window of the empty shop, next to the name Monster Wireless. Every day, and every night I get calls for Monster Wireless, all hours. It does get old.

One of mine was from my son, him and 3 others had been in an auto accident. They were all taking to the hospital, 2 by ambulance and 2 by helicopter. My son was one of the ones that was taken by helicopter. None of the kids had been drinking or doing drugs. Just going to fast on a gravel road. They all lived even though 2 were in the hospital just that night, one was there week and one was there for 2 months.
My other call in the middle of the night came when mom called me to let me know that my brother was sick and was on his way to the hospital. We went there to see him, but he was gone before we got there. He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly before we got there.
It's those calls in the "middle" of the night that scares the heck out of me. I will never shut my phone off, ringer or any other way, because you just never know when you are going to get that dreaded call.

Mine is my married ex fiance calling me at three in the morning flirting and asking for a booty call. Needless to say I hang up on the ***hole and mentally cuss him out for waking me up. I mean...hello? He has a wife...why not call her!? Then I either take the phone off the hook or turn off my cell phone because he text me too.

I work nights and feel the same way when someone calls me during the day especially when they know I work nights and need my sleep. So what I do is return the favor and call their asses at 3:00 in the morning to chit chat. I laugh so hard as they get all pissed off.

haha, congratulate yourself, at least your ex still knows your number, and you're still included in those important persons to call whenever feeling low. like what you've said your ex is drunk, so cannot think straight, and doesn't know what is the proper time to call. just have pity and be humane.
