Yes. As long as you are referring to a rescue inhaler like Albuterol. The pregnant mother is providing oxygen for her baby as well as her self. If breathing symptoms warrant an inhaler then it should be used - though only when really needed. Also see a doctor regularly and discuss the frequency of use. Use of Steroidal inhalers should be discussed with your doctor.

Just because some women have asthma, doesn't mean that they can't have a healthy pregnancy. But, they have to keep their asthma in control. Asthmatics who see their doctors (both their allergist and/or internist and obstetrician) regularly throughout their pregnancy have as good a chance of having a normal pregnancy and healthy baby as women without asthma.

I am severe asthmatic and never went without my inhaler in 3 pregnancies. It actually became essential because all my other meds wree stopped, and I had no other options.

I used my inhaler through all three of my pregnancies and it was fine.

I did and my babies where and are fine. Ask your docotr tho. They gave them too me when I was PG
