I haven't read that book at all but I think they do the same funeral as in Star Wars Episode 3. That's how episode 3 and in Star by Star.

Err, if you are talking about Star Wars, his name is Anakin Skywalker. And Padme of course was all sad about his dying, and Obi-Wan was upset too, because he was the chosen one for the Jedi. But the Dark Side already attached to him and took his Jedi training over and "perverted" it and drew him more towards the Sith.
