If you truly cannot bear weight, then you need to be evaluated.
Sprains can be very serious things. Although you don't break bones in a sprain, you can severely tear your tendons, muscles and ligaments...which is WORSE than a bone break.
You need to get in and be seen. In the meantime follow the RICE plan... Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation.
Stay off the ankle. Apply ice packs for 20 minutes several times a day (wrap ice in towel). Apply an ace wrap around your ankle...but not too tight. And, lastly, elevate your ankle above the level of your heart if possible...this means lie down with it propped up on pillows.
Sorry, there is no quick fix for a sprain...especially a bad one. And, if it's bad enough you can't bear weight...the more you walk on it, the more damage you're doing to the soft tissues (muscles, ligaments, tendons).

Are you sure that it is only a sprain?
Ice it, tape it, and stay off of it. Get either crutches or a wheelchair to use for the time being. Talk to whichever office handles student affairs (rescheduling tests). Explain to them your situation and they can set up accomodations for you. They may reschedule your tests, or they can arrange some way for you to get to where ever you need to go. They can also talk to your teachers for you. Some places require a doctor's note saying that you have a sprained ankle, which you may be able to get from someone on campus.

You can try a combo of ice and heat. Heat for 10 min then ice for 10, do that for a hour or so. thats what I had to do. But time is what is going to heal it. You might need to get some crutches. If you go to a Doc he could give you a walking boot. Good Luck

I dont know how much I can help, but i know hwen my dad sprained his ankle, he elevated it nightly and put ice on it. also, he wore an ace bandage on it and stayed off it as much as possible. Theres not really a quick way to fix it, just take pain killers, wrap it, ice it, and deal with a limp until ur feeling better. Hope you feel better.

Well the best thing you could of done has passed now. When you get a sprain, you need to walk on it right away.We use to play soccer and when me or my brother sprained our ankles our dad made us walk on it.It would be stiff in the morning, but not near as bad as if we babied it.Take some Ibuprofen, its an anti inflammatory and pain reliever.keep walking on it to loosen it up.But make sure it isn't broke.

You definetely NEED to immobilize that ankle. Have ice and warm water towels on it, switching back and forth. Go to the school health center quickly, or ask somebody to borrow you some crutches. If not, get them on e-bay.

Go to the doc. Get some pain killers and something to support your injured foot. IF that doesn't cut it get some crutches or a wheel chair.
