The spot where they put it was sore but it didn't hurt all the way down my back. I do know that having back pain is a common side effect so I'm sure you aren't alone.

Yes I noticed pain after I had both of my kids. From time to time I still get a pain in my lower back where my epidural was for my last child.

yes with my first I had an epidural..and the spot was sore for over a week..with my 2nd there was no time, which ended up better because delivery was quick and no epidural site pain.

This has happend to me the three times I have had them in child birth. Not sure why but I am sure it just the fact you have a long needle enlodged in your spine. I can still even feel where I had mine. Sometimes they can still be tender to the touch too. If it becomes red or imflamed though contact your doctor it could mean a infection has set in.

mine didn't so much hurt as it was really sensitive. No one could touch my back for almost a year.
