I choose my destiny and I've chosen to fall in love with a lot of people and I've chosen to love those that I'm not always particularily fond of all the time. Feelings are uncontrollable sometimes but choices made on those feelings or lack there-of define who we are.

Destiny perhaps. Choice? Definately.

Love a lot

I think I don't think so :) I do think though we fall in love again and again with more or less the same type.

The reason could be that love is a chemical/biological thing to create the necessary bounding between two people that are fit to have the most possibilities to have offspring, and the most possibilities to have healthy and succesfull offspring.

Perhaps that's a plausible reason for 'opposites attract', why an insecure shy person and a loud overconfident one could fall in love with each other, a very tall one with a very small one, a big nose with a small nose etc. The body recognises what could give the best chances of getting a more average or beautifull or healthy combination.

'Falling in love' is a romantic idea. Some people are romantic, others are not. People have their own 'agendas' in life. To some, finding a loving partner is very high up on their list of priorities.

Others may want to discover a new vaccine or planet. some want to play sports or write music. Some people want to love as many people as they can, Some people love everybody. Some people love nobody.

;-D The important thing is to find out what is really important to you, and then try to reach your goals without fear.

Maybe. Its so hard to find someone that has everything your looking for in a person. But, if you find that person young, chances are you're going to change and grow older, which alot off times makes the two of you grow apart. Although there are those who are high school sweethearts who stay together forever. But if your not that lucky, you might want t o wait until your older and know for sure what you want in someone before you jump the gun.

I believe there are certain people we are destined to fall in love with. The one you should be with is determined by timing.

Destiny is shaped by choice. Yes, there are several persons within the multitude of world populations that one is completely compatible with, but finding them is a task performed by the spiritual self. Not the physical self

No, when I was younger I used to think this, but now I know that's just fairytale hogwash...sorry to burst your bubble. At different stages in our lives, we may fall in love with people for different reasons. A life time of romantic love with one person is extremely rare and requires extreme sacrifice.

i'd like to believe that for most people, there is someone.but i've seen that some people, don't end up falling in love with anyone.i guess these people are happy to be by themselves.and they don't feel the need for a soulmate.i hope that there is someone for me.but i don't dwell on it too much anymore.right now,i just try to live day by day.and whatever happens, happens.

I think there are mulitple "soul mates,'' however, a lot of it has to do with making a choice to fall in love. Therefore, that narrows it down.

oh i totally agree with Liza on this one...and besides, to think that there is someone for everybody is a silly thing..because life is unfair and we have to realize it...i have actually seen some ppl who ended up being alone for their whole life...and then just died...some r lucky some aren't ...that's life :)
