How many of you have been stabbed in the back by other females? Seems like most female friends who are "close friends" end up talking about me behind my back and making up stories. Guys don't tend to do that for the most part in my experience. Has this happened to alot of you females?

Yeah. It's amazing how someone you called your best friend turns out to be your worst enemy. Remeber...a girl isn't a girl's best friend, diamonds are.

Yes definately, it happened alot to me when i was younger and it still happens now to some degree. Putting bluntly i have no doubt that ive done it myself, but im not proud of it.
These days i try to be true to myself and if i have a problem i just say so. That way i dont walk around angry as hell for days on end and i can have peace of mind in the long run. Its not always nice hurting someone's feelings with something that u might think about them, but yet again its not nice either to slag them behind your back.

i've always had this problem.most of the time,other girls just didn't like me.i guess because i'm so shy and awkward,they think i'm really weird.plus,they were involved with things that i wasn't.they had more friends,the boys liked them,they had more personality,etc.i was always kind of jealous of them.because they never had to struggle in social situations,the way i did.i decided over the years,to just not trust other females.i'll talk to some people,including my male friends.but i won't get too close to anyone.i'll try to be a good friend to people.but i won't get my hopes up,that they think of me as a real friend.it'll just hurt too much.because the truth is,i'm sure they just talk about me behind my back,anyway.

Some ladies tend to talk behind each others back and make up stories, because they want to cover their own weaknesses, and also to get some attention.

Wow, funny you say that...I am in counseling and it has come to my awareness that i have trust issues with women because so many of my close female friends have stabbed me in the back because of jealousy or some other reason unbeknown to me....women are very catty...men are not so

Yes, many, many times. Some women can become very vicious enemies when they decide to act out their jealousies. Men are better sometimes, as they got better things to do. Women can be catty. But they make the best of friends.

Yeah, I this happens to me all of the time. This is why I don't really hang out with many girls. I think guys are alot more "real" so I get along with them better. I completely understand where you are coming from.

Yes of course it's the women who do that - gossip is our pastime. It's a horrible thing but that's what they do when 3 females are together. Guys don't ever gossip, do they?
It happens.. and we get on with life.

Apparently I'm the only person to say this, but no. All of my female friends are really good to me and never talk about me behind their back, and vice virsa.
