I may be wrong but there is only one you, I would be selfish a bit in this case, if you are sure that this disease will kill you and the baby then the baby will most probably die anyway right? it is your life that is important, you can have another baby if the disease goes or just adopt, I do not think that you should risk your own life.

First I would research everything on the disease. If it seemed 95% likely then that's the only sensible option. That way husband and wife can choose to adopt a baby or a child in need and not go through life alone.

The government shouldn't have the power to make those decisions. That's like forcing people with downs syndrome to be sterilized.

If I was a woman I would go against all odds and try to have the baby anyway. Doctors are not always right and they cannot predict the future as I have seen so many times in my career.

I have no way of answering the first part of the question because i have never been there so there is no way of knowing how that feels. And no I don't want the government making the decision for me. They are making enough of those decisions.

The other question's kinda hard, but I would say abort the child...your life is more important

The scenario you describe happens very, very rarely, but there is such a thing as a therapeutic abortion for such a case.

I would never kill my baby, I would pray and have faith, but never kill my baby
