The government has other bogey men and women to stalk, the terrorists. Political descent is marginalized now by our own media and the powerful 2 party system that actually makes it almost impossible for a minority political party to gain any strength in the US.

They dont care. they finally realized communism isnt so bad. its one solution to a problem. I would say the Communist party in the U.S is large enough at this point, that if they did care people would still be being prosecuted in front of congress.
