A wheel broke off my car on the freeway and damaged a car going the other way but nobody was hurt(THANK GOD!) however there was an insurance claim against my policy. I was never cited however. The question is two fold will it go on my driving record and would it effect me from getting a job driving a truck? Otherwise I have kept my driving record clean for about 20 years and I plan to keep it clean.

No the only thing on your drivers record is tickets you recieve.
And no it will not effect your CDL prospects

It can damage JOB prospects (summer job at Burger King for example), but you wouldn't DARE say this for a career-based job. Especially not in George Bush's America...
