Um, no. My mother and I preheat the oven when we're making HOMEMADE CAKES AND COOKIES! (Yummy!) Neither of us are losers or smell bad as far as I can tell. Sometimes, preheating the oven makes it easier to bake stuff, like cookies and cakes. THANK YOU AVEE! You go, girl!

I haven't met anyone this passionate about anti pre-heating since old man Patterson from down the river. He would hold huge protests. Parades of protestors would flood the streets chanting "WE WON'T GET BEAT, DON'T PRE-HEAT!" I'll give him your number. You two can talk.

I have to agree with you. It takes too long. Who has time to just sit there for 20 minutes whiles the oven gets hot. It should get hot faster for crying out loud.
