I've been trying to get my situation resolved for a while now everytime I call I get transfered all over the place. Even the managers there don't know what the HELL they are doing.

i called Dell 3 times in the past month, two times i got very knowledgeable people from the state of washington..3rd time i got a similiarly knowledgeable person from texas. my problems were resolved each time...I had 3 different issues,,,number i called was 1-800-232-8544. good luck

Yeah... Dell Tech Support is well understood by the owner Ill Will Press if you have ever watched the Foamy Cartoons...

Anyway, you have to give them $1,000 a month to speak to someone who knows something. All of the smiling, rich people with perfect English on their commercials are not true, sadly. Usually it is person in India no speak much English that transfer you. Labor is cheaper there.

I have worked for Dell in India- catering to american customers and our call centre had higher customer satisfaction n 'first time resolution scores' than that of american call centre.
i have resolved queries in 2 minutes to 5.30 hours depending on the issue.
you might have had some really complex issue with the system. by the way, wots the problem ?? may i know tht??

I just installed Linksys and talked to BellSouth (I live in Florida) who could not help me, then transferred me to 2 foreign countries. It's about the $$$. You have these huge problems in the first place and then they transfer you to people who may as well be from another planet because you can't understand what they say anyway. My experience was horrible. The whole process took 4 hours.

I found If I call Monday thru Friday during business hours. Also Someone told me if you ask to speak to an American they will do it for you.. Good luck

All the calls to most computer tech support is based in places like India. That's where you're calling.

I've had the same problem.. after 30 minutes on phone with people that i couldnt understand, I finally got frustrated and hung up

yeah i know what you mean customer support is very aggravating. the only thing to do is keep getting reffered until you reach the right person. or you can go to one of my favorite websites and they might be able to help you there its www.geekstogo.com
