Mendocino County in northern California used to grow some of the best pot in the country, sticky green & purple haired buds. Now the competition is feirce. Kentucky, the blue grass state (LOL) now has a reputation for growing the best. Ohio grows some strong sh*t. Hawaii used to but it's such a small area that it's been irradicated to the point where an ounce sells for $500.00 or more. Where I live in southeastern Ohio, tons of pot are seized annually by the eye in the sky that 'buzzes' over my yard at least once a month from spring through fall. I should add that Ohio has one of the most lenient marijauna laws in the country; you can have up to 100 grams (over 3 ounces) and it still be a misdemeanor. I quit smoking pot, after 38 years of daily use. I quit for a pre-employment drug screen (I didn't get the job, not pot related) and I just never went back.
