I've been late before , but never more than five days. Which is why i was thinking it might be stress, but the only thing i can think of that causes me stress is my job, and it's not that bad. so...hmm?
I took a hpt two nights ago, it was negative, but i talked to a friend, and she said when she took three this early and hers was negative too.

If you aren't normally more than 5 days late, then you just might be pregnant. You know what's normal for your body and what's not. I'd take another test in a week or two and if it's negative, see a doctor.

If you are stressed or have lost a great deal of weight, it can cause you to miss your period. But, just to be sure, you should still take a pregnancy test to rule out that possibility.

Oh honey YES. It happens. Don't worry. I do it all the time.
However, the best thing to do is to either take a home pregnancy test or go to a doc for a blood draw.

have you had the doctor do you a test?when i was pregnant with my first baby i went through five shop bought tests and they were all negative! the doctors came up positive straight away.it all depends on your hormone levels apparently.if your not a textbook pregnancy it throws the docs right out and they seemed puzzled with me,i even had reicolously different due dates,30th october,30 november and 16th december! in the end she came on 12th december 1997.ive had 2 more since, the home tests worked instantly on them.

It can, but not normally if you are regular. If this is the first time you ahve skipped, then I would think you are pregnant. You need to take a test to find out one way or another.

Stress can screw up your body and make your period come late. Take a pregnancy test!
