my boyfrien was in a milittary.Got marriend and after 2 years they dicided to get divorce.he said that he was sending her money for laywer while he was away for a 9 months..when he came back he never heard from her.. 5 years later he met me and he doent know how to get his divorce papers..how can he find out that she realy filed for divorce?can he only present his information to get any respond/papers/any proof. Can we just get marriend and assume that she did the write thing...he did not have kids with her..but we have it

Tell him to go to legal on the base and they can help check this out...Do not get married until you have papers, you need to show that anyways to get your marriage license.....

Until he gets papers from her and signs them, he's considered separated, not divorced.
