I am in a very bad domestic abuse situation, and need to get out very soon. I have no family or friends to go to. I need to rent an apartment, and soon. I don't have a lot of money saved right now, but I do have a good job and can pay whatever is needed. My current landlord can provide a good reference as far as paying, etc.
Please help as my 7 year old autistic son, and I are not safe here. I don't want to go to a shelter unless it's a last resort. That would be very hard for my son.

Please call the women's hotline. If you and your child are in danger, get out. You may only have to stay at a "shelter" very briefly. They can probably help you locate another place for you to go.
