I saw your answers in my other question "am i gothic?" but your not getting me.I'm not doing this because of my friends I just want to know who I am I mixed up to much so please help. Here read my 'diet' analogy: say your on a diet which you don't know when you can stop the diet and there is a delicious cake set in front of you. I am pushing the cake away but its tempting to pull it back and I tug is a small bit sometimes. Make sense? Anyways i'm not labeling, my parents don't know I feel this way, and so far in school my rep. is either 1) a wierdo 2) a prep or 3) all of the above (just so you know i'm not prep whatsoever and yes enimes think i'm wierd sometimes friends when i'm sugar high)

No, it doesn't seem so it me. It looks like you're just interested in a verity of thing, which most people are. Being gothic is not about what things you like, but what your worldview is. If you comprehend and accept all the bad & evil in the world, but still see the beauty in it all, then you might be gothic. A funny way to decide if you're goth is the following, stolen from http://gothinthenight.gothicunderworld.com/

You Might Be a Goth If. . .
You are happy when no one has ever heard of your favorite band
When someone else "discovers" your favorite band, you find another favorite band
Christians accost you with pamphlets on the street frequently
Jehovah's Witnesses accost you with pamphlets on the street frequently
You accost Christians with pamphlets on the street
Satanists just look at you and smile
You laugh hysterically during those Church Of Latter-Day Saints commercials
You call for the free Bible anyway
You take great pleasure in vandalizing said Bible after waiting impatiently by your mailbox for 4-6 weeks
You stop vandalizing the Bible momentarily to look up Psalm 69
In your honest opinion, the image of Jesus ruins the beauty and natural fluidity of the cross
You've been with your significant other for over a year and still wonder what they look like without make up
You and your boyfriend fight over make up
You decide to get matching his/hers make up caddies to separate your make up
You smudge your lipstick on purpose to look like Robert Smith
You eat those limited edition pop-tarts just because they have bats on them
You save them because Hey!...they're limited edition
You call them goth-tarts

From what I read of your questions, you like some of the things that gothics like, but you may not like all of them or you also like other things. Which is what I would expect of a reasonably intelligent person.

To label yourself says that you like certain things and don't like certain things, but doing this prevents you from growing and finding yourself.

Don't worry about how other kids label you, in a few years or maybe sooner you will move on and you will have different friends as your interests change.

Iif you want to wear black some days and you want to read Anne Rice do it, but then if you want to wear something else and read a different book or listen to different music, do that too. As soon as you label yourself, you take away some of your freedom and the fact that you are questioning if you are a goth, tells me that you aren't.

Just be you, and be happy.

Seems like you're spending waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too much time worried about what other people are thinking about you.

Be yourself. Quit giving others power over you. Be happy with who you are: ie... like what you like, not what you think other people like. Dress how ever you want, don't worry about what category something is in. If you like it, wear it. If you don't like it a month from now, quit wearing it. Be yourself, don't conform.

PS Drink less caffeine and cut back on the sugar.

Sounds like you're still figuring yourself out. Until you do, nobody else can do if for you.

What is it about you that makes you question whether you're gothic in the first place. What is it about the whole gothic subculture that you identify with?
...and no, "wierd" does not count.

I don't really understand your question, usually gothic people wear black clothes. And for the diet thing, are you saying you can't resist cake? If so, just eat tiny portions of it.

Sorry if i didn't answer that correctly :(

gothic is like total black clothes. and prep is so far from that. do you even know what that is? you mean like anorexic or bulimic. that's the term for you. or you just have a huge crave for sweets. so you're afraid of being fat?
