Does the word 'pladance' mean "act of pleading" or "plea" in English?

I could not find any information for the word on the Internet.

I would really appreciate if you would give me the meaning of 'pleadance'. (and possibly the source)

English teacher please help me!

Thank you for your help!

It isn't in any of the major dictionaries, but I found a number of old literary quotes in which the authors used the expression "in pleadance" to mean "pleadingly", as in, "He raised his arms toward her in pleadance." My guess is that it is an antiquated expression.
